- When does the lighting season begin and end?
Most municipal codes allow for seasonal lighting to be up for four months. Depending on your requested schedule, most properties turn their lights on from early November to early January. To ensure your desired schedule we recommend contacting us in September or October of the year of service.
- How long do I have to wait if there’s a light bulb out?
Silent Lights has a 24 Hour Customer Service Program. In addition to speedy service we visit your property at least once per week to ensure 100% of the lights are on and there is no maintenance issues.
- Can I choose different colors and/or light type?
Yes, Silent Lights will work directly with you to choose the desired look.

- Will your installers remove my lights as well as install them?
Absolutely. Our professionals are dedicated to providing you with beautiful Holiday lighting, as well as taking all of the burden out of shopping for necessary materials, installing lights, and removing the lights after the holiday season. Removal is included in our price. Removals generally begin January 2. No appointment is necessary for removal. We remove lights on a geographical basis to ensure a quick removal for everyone.
- How do you calculate your labor estimate?
There are several factors that contribute to the estimated price of a job. These factors include the complexity of the display, electrical constraints, and of course the length of time necessary to complete the job. We take our time on each and every job, and our holiday light professionals pride ourselves on providing you with the most professional displays in town.
- What happens if I have a problem with my lights?
Our qualified installers are trained to take all of the necessary measures to prevent any problems with your lights. However, if you do have a problem with your display, we have service technicians to correct the problem as soon as possible.
- Are there any hidden charges?
No, sometimes other companies will charge you hidden fees for electrical accessories, removals, etc. The price that we quote you is all-inclusive and we do not charge our valuable customers hidden “junk” fees.
- When should I schedule my Holiday light installation?
Due to our short and fast-paced season, the sooner you schedule your installation the better chance you’ll have to get your lights installed and choose a date that you prefer. Installations begin in early October and end in late December. Call for early season discounts.
